Material Analysis
Material analyses require to maintain the identity of metals from melting to their final application. This involves the use of standard quality assurance practices and procedures throughout the various stages of manufacturing and processing, at ware-houses and materials receiving, and during fabrication and final installation of the product. These practices typically involve standard physical & chemical analyses tests to meet product acceptance standards.
The following chemical analyses testing techniques are widely used in the industry because they are too portable and provide accurate results within seconds of testing:
- X-ray fluorescence spectrometry /Positive Material Identification (XRF/PMI)
- Optical emission spectrometry/ Spark Testing (OES/ST)
